ACCESSIBILITY
AT SYDNEY FRINGE

We believe Sydney Fringe Festival belongs to everyone and therefore, should be inclusive of everyone.

We are committed to creating safe, accessible and inclusive experiences for all members of our community.  Sydney Fringe believes the Social Model of Disability, acknowledging that our society and environment creates physical, communication and social ‘barriers’ that are disabling factors. It is all of our responsibility to make events, programs and platforms as barrier-free as possible.

We are committed to providing education and support to our artists and producers. To assist artists and producers in improving the accessibility of their event, we host access and inclusion masterclasses each festival season, and our Access Co-Ordinator is available to producers year-round for advice and guidance.

We understand that Disability and accessibility is a diverse experience and is different for each individual. We do our utmost to make all we do accessible, however we understand we may not always get it right. We welcome feedback, please let us know where we can improve.
