The Queer & The Camp – Gala #4

Wed 23 Sep, 8:30am | 2 hours 45 minutes Online Event

We close out our inaugural Global Fringe digital programme with a whimsical and heartfelt celebration of the queer and camp, of nostalgia and memory, and the small joys in life and love.

Ten Out Of Ten UK company TOOT bring us an uplifting, interactive performance about failure, and how we measure ourselves. Join three experts for an hour of achieving, and joyful collective participation.

Queers on the Fringe With a pocket full of heart, wit and rage, Sydney-based cabaret queer Maeve Marsden hosts a mixed bag of local artists, writers, comedians and musicians for an experiment in intimate entertainment – equal parts playful, personal and political.

Queen Have & Miss Haven’t a monstrous modernist ballet featuring Queen Victoria and Miss Havisham; the ultimate widow and the eternal bride, unable to escape each other’s clutches. UK dance duo Thick & Tight are famous for high-camp mixture of ballet, melodrama and lip-syncing.

You can access this event without purchasing a ticket but we strongly encourage viewers to Pay What You Feel the work is worth. Now more than ever independent artists need your support.
