Arctic Dreams is a performance project, a work in progress, an investigation that started one sleepless night, a dream of wakefulness and death, a blank body, a body at the limit. A body seeking salvation but at the same time subject to language, to a relentlessly resonant analytical consciousness.

Arctic Dreams is a performance project, a work in progress, an investigation that started one sleepless night, a dream of wakefulness and death, a blank body, a body at the limit. A body seeking salvation but at the same time subject to language, to a relentlessly resonant analytical consciousness.

The piece includes movement, live and recorded music, images and texts taken from dreams, diaries and personal conversations as well as published text from works by Barry Lopez, Simone Weil and Somhairle MacGill-Eain. The performance gently invites the audience to move with the performer, either in their imagination or in the performance space. Arctic Dreams was premiered at the PalmaDansa festival in 2018.
