Fillow Talk's Immersive Family Reunion

Fillow Talk's Immersive Family Reunion

22 - 23 Sep | 1 hour East Sydney Community and Arts Centre

You’re family now.
And one of your relatives is about to get married.

Will love prevail? That really depends on what you, our extended family members, decide.

Join in on the fun and have your say - are you seeing red flags? Is this a family you can roll with? It doesn't matter what the bride and groom think, what matters is what you think is best for us. After all, we'll be spending a fortune on the reception.

From meeting the overopinionated in-laws to the chaotic wedding planning, this immersive comedy puts you right in the middle of all the Filipino family drama.

This talented group of improvisers provide an hour of laughs. They welcome us into their family reunion and as it always does drama ensues. With musical accompaniment they reveal family secrets and share what it is like to live with gossipy titas and inappropriate titos. Prompted by suggestions from the audience this team of improvisers are supportive, quick witted and love the spotlight. It’s lighthearted, fun, and no one takes themselves too seriously. My takeaway- everyone needs a little bit of Filipino hospitality to feel like they truly belong and at a night of Fillow Talk no one is left out! - Lauren Donikian (Theatre Reviewer)
