The year is 20XX (where XX = 23) and tickets have almost sold out for 'Karate Man', a live comedy show where for the first time, the audience is in complete control.Karate Man is an interactive staged comedy show where the protagonist is controlled by a wireless video game controller that the audience shares. Imagine a video game like Double Dragon or Street Fighter, except the heroes are out of shape and will be sweating a lot. And the sweat is REAL.The audience will find themselves controlling Karate Man through scenarios such as:- commuting to work- convincing wife to not leave him- hailing a cab- fighting Ross Roundkick and his horde of goons- drinking water- collecting gemsThis tech-heavy show will be designed by and star Bruno Dubosarsky and Daniel Scarratt of BEAK, who just returned from a successful run at Edinburgh Fringe 2022. They'll be supported by a squad of comedians who are also friends.Karate Man will be silly, sweaty and satisfying.
