Step behind the desk of a Melbourne revolutionary in this absurd and funny new play.

150 years ago amidst the political upheaval of tsarist Russia, Fyodor Dostoevsky wrote Notes from Underground, a book so steeped in existential angst and self-hatred that it has since caused millions of people to exclaim “omg me!”. This funny and satirical new work updates Dostoevsky’s dystopian spirit for the paranoia of our own uniquely crazed times.

Exploring everything from dreams of the apocalypse to private school reunions to infamous Melbourne monument ‘The Cheese Stick’, come along on a strange journey hosted by one fed-up Moonee Ponds resident. He’s hell-bent on making a change – but only if he can figure anything out first.

This show is being presented as a double bill alongside the play ‘Alison Goes to ALDI for Her Aunt’. Buy tickets to both and save up to $15.
