“Say It” is a newly written play in video format about living with post-traumatic stress syndrome after sexual assault. About self-blame, and not naming your perpetrator.

“She has no idea who she’s looking at in the mirror. A skin with eyes and a mouth. Layer upon layer of make-believe to hide the memory that still remembers.” Stuck in a twilight land is a young woman with only herself for friendship and company. Dreams mixed with reality chase her as she tries to escape the memory of an assault. When forgotten words suddenly take shape in her mouth, she no longer can reject the fragments of her past. An inner violent journey begins. A journey she’s not sure she’s ready for. “Say It” is a newly written play in video format about living with post-traumatic stress syndrome after sexual assault. About self-blame, and not naming your perpetrator.
