Becca Hurd's one-woman break-up comedy, directed by the man who broke up with her.

Emmy didn’t believe in finding ‘the one.’ But then she travelled across the world to Australia and met Angus. After diving headfirst into an international romance, Emmy and Angus are separated by closed COVID borders. And then Angus dumps her. So… Emmy lies to the Australian government to sneak in and win him back. Why wouldn’t she? He’s ‘the one.’

This one-woman Rom-Com is inspired by the true story of how Becca Hurd finagled her way out of America and into Australia in 2020. A break-up show directed by the man who broke up with her, Becca Hurd returns to the Fringe stage with this hysterical self-written play. Her debut one-woman play, The Other Side Of 25, received ★★★★★ star reviews at the 2019 Adelaide Fringe Festival and toured to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and around the USA.

The Long Haul is her next one-woman endeavour into laughter, mental health and the everlasting question of who we’re each ‘meant to be’ with.
