Hannah Della Bosca: Lennox Street Open Studios

Sat 17 - Sun 18 Sep | 7 hours Lennox Street Studios

Wild Ways: Routes, Pathways, and Patterns of Power Hannah Della Bosca merges academic research within her abstract visual practice, using shape and colour to blend ecological landscapes with theories of justice and power.

Wild Ways explores the ways in which the intuitive practice of artistic creation can call forth the themes of interconnection, vulnerability, and historical legacies that characterise academic theories and activist practices of ecological and environmental justice.

Hannah Della Bosca is an environmental humanities researcher at Sydney Environment Institute, and working on a PHD in multispecies justice. In Wild Ways she presents abstract oil paintings whose elements merge with her research as a way of highlighting the stories of power that live in the patterns that surround and shape us.
