Internationally acclaimed vocalist Zoe K is debuting her show The Zoe K WholeExperience: DRINK SLAY F**K at the 2023 Sydney Fringe Festival. Zoe K wHole Experience: DRINK SLAY F**K is the raunchy and unhinged coming-of-age story of a self-identified show pony described by Rhythms Magazine as “a voice that belies her youth, the dynamics i n her vocals are incredible” and ‘beyond the help of the Lord’ by more than one Uber driver. Think EAT PRAY LOVE, but instead of Julia Roberts eating Gelato in Tuscany it’s Zoe downing Plan B with a shot of Jameson in a dimly lit jazz-dive bar in New Orleans.Originally hailing from rural NSW, Zoe’s spent much of the last decade honing her vocal craft and salacious improv stylings in the Jazz mecca of New Orleans, where she was a mainstay on Frenchman Street and collaborated with the likes of Kermit Ruffins and performed at Festivals such as New Orleans French Quarter Festival.Born of the off-the-cuff (and on-the-nose) improvisation for which the ex-New Orleans local’s live shows have become known,laugh, cry and cheer as The wHole Zoe K Experience: DRINK PLAY F**K takes your breath (and scruples) away with the best, funniest and filthiest of what Jazz comedy has to offer.
