The Sydney Fringe Festival is the largest independent arts event in New South Wales with over 450 events in every genre you can imagine each year.
Each September culture creators from all over the city join forces with us to share Sydney’s stories and demonstrate the type of city they want to live in all year round and artists from the fringe around the country and the world join us to make a truly global local festival.
The festival runs from 1 – 30 September every year and in 2023 WE ARE BACK and WE ARE PINK.
Special event tickets are on-sale July 15. All Sydney Fringe Festival tickets can be purchased online from 1st August on our What’s On page. To make sure you don’t miss any early ticket releases, keep an eye on our social channels, as well as subscribe to our mailing list.
You can also buy tickets at one of our Physical box offices which are popping up in a few locations around the City.
From the 1 – 30 September you can find our box office at the QVB Forecourt, open 12-10 pm daily. Here you can buy tickets, get exclusive access to rush tix and find out all the information you need to know about the Festival.
All tickets can be purchased online from our What’s On page, through our App or at one of our Box Offices. To make sure you don’t miss any early ticket releases, keep an eye on our social channels, as well as subscribe to our mailing list.
We accept MasterCard, Visa debit and credit and AMEX.
You certainly can! From the 31st of August, we have a brand new Box Office on the forecourt of The QVB.
Some venues also operate an in-person box office directly before each performance but be aware that events may be sold out by this time. Please note that the online box office remains open until 5 minutes after each show starts so if you happen to be at one of our hubs and notice a show’s about to start that you’d like to see, jump on your phone to buy a last-minute ticket (subject to availability).
You can show staff your e-ticket on your phone when you arrive at the venue, and door staff at most Fringe venues will have a door list on the night. If in doubt please call the individual venue.
Children under 12 are considered a Concession where concession tickets are available.
Variable tickets for children under 1 are show specific. Please contact our box office for details. On the event page for the show you are attending, you will see the rating of the show which will indicate whether this is suitable for children.
We will only refund or exchange tickets in the event of a show cancellation. If you have purchased tickets to a show that has subsequently been cancelled, please await further instructions from our box office team.
