Each September we transform Sydney into the vibrant, cultural, artistic celebration that Sydneysiders dream of all year-round. Do you think your space has potential? We collaborate with existing venues, activate pop-up spaces, and partner with bold, brilliant artists to explore innovative ways to throw fantastic events all across the city.

Whether your place suits theatre, comedy, or visual arts, we want to hear from you. We are quickly becoming the BEST fringe festival ever and each year scour Sydney for the BEST talent. But we need YOU the buildings, spaces, and venues to bring it all together.

From harbour-side activations, sensational street parties and intimate performances, we are setting the city alight with electrifying performances and captivating experiences in amazing spaces across the inner west, CBD, inner east, and Western Sydney and that includes your venue!

What are the benefits of being a Fringe Venue?

Gain access to a new audience

We’re the largest independent arts festival in  NSW. With a marketing reach of 66 million in 2023, we are the most visible single event for independent artists and venues in Greater Sydney. Expose your venue to a whole new audience by joining the festival.

We promote the independent arts

As an open access festival, we provide a platform for all genres and experience levels. We welcome over 400 artists and 100,000 people annually to our events across September.

Our footprint is expanding

The festival continues to expand into Western, Northern and South Sydney. We are Sydney’s Fringe Festival. And that means all of Sydney.

We love Sydney

We are committed to year-round advocacy and work to grow and strengthen the culture and nightlife of our city. Help us invest in the cultural life of our fantastic city.

We are committed to improving access and inclusion

We are committed to ensuring our venues and events are accessible to audiences and artists alike. We prioritise diversity and inclusion to ensure everyone can participate in the festival.
