Knight Time Adventures

“Knight Time Adventures” is a queer, one person show based on a short story that I wrote when I was 5 years old now re-written for adults.

It follows your typical adventure structure: knight rescues princess, knight has a feast with a wizard, knight falls in love, discovers something is afoot and in the process, learns something new about himself.

This is a stupid, ridiculous and pun stuffed coming-of-age adventure that marries the whimsy and logic of a 5 year old with a 30-something year old’s observations about coming out. Written to be read aloud, this show will be a blend of physical theatre, story telling, multi media and jazzy theatrics.

Aslam Abdus-samad

Aslam Abdus-samad is a writer, performance maker and movement artist. He has trained with NIDA, Stella Adler Studio (NYC), IUGTE (Italy), MADimprov (Spain), Zen Zen Zo and holds a P. Grad Dip in Performance Creation (VCA). Aslam has been a proud member of MEAA since 2017.
