We are excited to announce the 2026 Fringe Reviewer Lab participants.

Sydney Fringe and ArtsHub are thrilled to announce the participants selected for the 2026 Reviewer Lab, a professional development program designed to nurture the next generation of arts critics and cultural writers.

This year’s cohort brings together an exciting mix of writers, artists, filmmakers, producers and arts workers, each bringing unique perspectives to the live performance landscape. Participants include writer and reviewer Daniel Stojkovski, independent dramaturg and playwright Grace Davidson-Lynch, award-winning playwright and critic Grace Wilson, and multidisciplinary arts enthusiast Jaynie Ng.

Joining them are film critic and newsletter editor Matthew Donlan, dancer, producer and writer Phaedra Brown, Uruguayan-Australian writer Rosana Bouzas, filmmaker Scarlett Potter, Ukrainian-Australian arts writer Solomiya Sywak, and freelance writer and editor William Winter.

Collectively, the cohort represents a broad cross-section of contemporary arts practice, with experience spanning theatre, dance, film, music, visual arts, cultural commentary and community storytelling. Throughout the program, participants will develop their critical writing skills, engage with works at the Sydney Fringe Festival, and contribute fresh perspectives to Australia’s arts conversation.

Sydney Fringe and ArtsHub look forward to supporting this talented group as they sharpen their critical voices and help connect audiences with the artists and stories shaping our cultural landscape.
