The Sydney Fringe Festival is the largest independent arts festival in New South Wales with over 450 events presented in over 70 venues across Greater Sydney each year.  Each September we activate 25 postcode areas of Greater Sydney with cultural activity for 30 days.

Culture creators from all over the city join forces with us to share Sydney’s stories presenting new work from all genres.

Our festival provides a platform for Sydney stories by Sydney voices in their originating landscape.  The Sydney Fringe Festival presents the work of 2500 artists across 1600 performances, to 69,000 audiences who provide an economic impact of $12million to the city.

A large part of the success of the festival lies with our volunteers who give their time so generously throughout the festival period. We are calling for volunteers to assist with the operation and delivery of the festival through the duration of September.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who would like to become involved in Sydney’s creative arts and cultural sector or gain experience in the entertainment sector and meet some new friends!

Positions are available in the areas of Front of House, Event and Bar Assistance from 30 August – 26 September 2021.
