About this event
Oi mate, you missed the strangest encounter down the pub last Thursdee arvo. So grab a cold one and pull up a chair cause DAZZA is gonna fill ya in..

You’ll never believe what happened last Thursdee. A couple of those queer pronoun people from the city rocked up at the local for a drink and a feed. But don’t stress, mate. Your favourite barfly DAZZA was there and even had the balls to talk to them. So grab a cold one and pull up a chair because the most true-blue Aussie bloke you’ve ever met in ya darn life has got one hell of a story to tell ya!

After picking up nominations for Best Comedy and Best Emerging Artist in 2023, Frankie Fearce returns to Sydney Fringe with DAZZA. Described by critics as “seriously top-class satire - a piece of theatrical magic” and “brilliantly written, packed to the brim with wit, social commentary and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments”, this satirical performance is a must-watch.

Reviews

It’s not only an uncanny creation, but brilliantly written, packed to the brim with wit, social commentary and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. ATYP

Fearce’s writing is wonderfully sharp, and the rhythms of the vernacular are spot on. Theatre Red

With just a stool on stage and a VB in hand, Fearce shakes up the crowd with a character so opposite from themselves that you really have to do a double take. Theatre Travels
