About this event
A dramatic comedy between a burnt-out OnlyFans model and an insecure librarian experimenting with looksmaxxing. As they both wait out a storm, their differences and similarities are revealed.

Our perception of ourselves is just as distorted as our perception of each other. How we see our own physical form in the mirror is as warped as our belief in the autonomy we have over our own lives. These different forms of distortion have forced us to shield our true selves from each other and, whether we like it or not, regulate and cater our behaviour every moment of the day: we remain in a state of perpetual awareness of how our actions might garner sympathy, or invoke disdain.

Mia is a highly successful OnlyFans model and one of the top earners world-wide. She has spent years intricately planning her rise, priding herself as an indomitable hustler unfazed by the reputation and risk of her profession. However, the pressures of the industry have left her burnt out in her dramatic rise to the top. On the advice of her manager, she has taken a vacation in a small coastal town - Halcyon Bay. After taking a day trip to a nearby beach she is caught in a rough storm and the next moment she wakes up in an unfamiliar room with an unfamiliar man.

Max is an intelligent but insecure library assistant living alone in Halcyon Bay. In dealing with the destitute nature of his hometown he built an AI agent – FOS – to keep him company and operate the house. After spotting Mia unconscious under a tree outside, he takes her back to his room to recover and wait out the storm. Max daydreams about doing comedy skits on social media but his insecurities associated with his looks inhibit his aspirations. His obsession with his physicality has led him to experimenting with unorthodox methods of changing his appearance.
