But even after he was captured, the sheriff kept him a secret. Kept him out of the press. Is it because W.D. revealed too much of the truth behind America’s most notorious outlaws?The little known facts?Or is it because W.D.Jones was a master of disguise? On the run, he evaded capture for so long by wearing wigs and silk shirts. He was often mistaken for Bonnie. Sometimes Clyde. He would become them at times, losing even his own identity.
