“On the Cusp” supports independent artists in their creative process. Creators are given complete trust and freedom of artistic expression, giving the responsibility back to the artist (no gates or gatekeeping).On the Cusp began in 2013 in Bangarra when Karen Kerkhoven saw a gap in the support for independent artists on the fringe of the dance sector. She decided to create a platform where artist could present their work in a public setting.
