About this event
A work exploring vulnerability, grief and release through songs from Plastic Ono Band, performed by Lisa Wood and John Phillips (Not Drowning, Waving). Premiered in Japan, now at Sydney Fringe.

Easter Daisy: Plastic Ono Rewired is a live performance by Lisa Wood and John Phillips (Not Drowning Waving,) reworking songs from Plastic Ono Band through an intimate contemporary lens.

Stripped back and immediate, Lennon’s songs unfold through voice, sound, and space—held in their raw themes of vulnerability, identity, grief, and release.

Each performance is direct and unadorned: a meeting between performers and audience where familiar songs are opened up, not explained away.

At its core, Easter Daisy asks what it means to be exposed, to be heard, and to let go.
