For one night only, two of Sydney’s emerging creative forces join together to explore new ways of performing—and seeing—live art.'Selene and the Strange' are an emerging indie, synth-rock band from Sydney. They have sold out headline shows at the Goodspace Gallery and released their debut single 'Letter to Selene' at the Metro in July. With members from across genres and groups including, Polar Eyes, The Stellas and the Euan Hart band, the group is excited to explore less conventional ways of performing live music.Nocturnal Creatures is a Sydney-based aerial troupe of nationally and internationally awarded artists. Masquerading as everyday people, they walk among us by day—unassuming, unnoticed. But by night, they take to the air, fusing world-class technique with bold, cross-artform storytelling that’s playful, provocative, and delightfully laced with mischief.This marks the first time either group hascollaborated in this way. Together, they invite you to reimagine ways to see live music and invite two different scenes in Sydney to merge for the night.
