About this event
Life is weird. Life is embarrassing. Life is square.

Esme Square is a small town loser who moves to Sydney to pursue life as a stand up comedian after her boyfriend breaks up with her.

Set across a week in her life, we follow Esme as she folds leggings, goes on bad dates, performs a failing stand-up comedy act and catches the bus. We also see Esme learn to grow up and let go and learn to love and embrace herself for the square that she is.

A debut full length play by writer/performer Rachel Thomas and directed by Madi Pheonix.

If you liked Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton , Frances Ha or Babyteeth, then you will like this. If not, then idk.
