'Where I'm From' is a Pacific anthem, empowering tagata Moana to embrace who they are and celebrate where they come from.
'Where I'm From' is a new theatre play by Sāmoan writer, Gabriel Faatau’uu-Satiu. The show follows the journey of a tama'ita'i who fears performing a taualuga - a traditional dance & one of her duties bestowed upon her as the daughter of a high chief. To conjure up courage, she seeks advice from her friendship circle, a village of ride-or-die besties from different parts of the Moana.
