Accessibility

Sydney Fringe is an open access festival and we continuously strive to improve access to our many partner venues and events across the festival.

Details of accessible performances will be available when events are on sale.

ACCESS AND INCLUSION SUPPORT FOR ARTIST REGISTRATIONS

Award-winning comedian, writer, producer, advisor and lifelong disability advocate, Madeleine Stewart is our new Access Coordinator. Maddy is here to help artists register for the Sydney Fringe Festival. Working on Thursdays you can call on (02) 9550 6087 or email direct via madeleine@sydneyfringe.com.

Maddy can assist you via the phone whilst you plan and submit your registrations for our next Festival.

PHYSICAL ACCESS

Sydney Fringe takes place in independently run spaces all over this city. Accessibility varies from venue to venue.

Sydney Fringe has developed a unique 10-point physical access guide to best describe Physical Access in our many partner venues. More access instructions are available in this physical access chart. Please check with individual venues about parking.

Call the Sydney Fringe at 02 9550 6087 or email hq@sydneyfringe.com to enquire further about venue accessibility.

Accessibility Chart will be available when events are on sale.

HEARING NO OBSTACLE & SIGHT NO OBSTACLE EVENTS

Sydney Fringe now allows artists to self-nominate their event as ‘hearing no obstacle’ or ‘sight no obstacle’. Please remember that these classifications are subjective and self-nominated when considering these events.

A full list of relevant events will be available when events are on sale.
