In 2019 Sydney Fringe entered a ground breaking partnership between Greencliff Australia, Create NSW and the City of Sydney to activate a vacant nightclub in the heart of Kings Cross.

The project transformed the building into a four-venue independent arts hub and trialled a shared risk model of operation to provide low-cost non-curated performance space for the local independent arts sector. The project helped facilitate new permeant tenancies for the landlord and was completed in 2020.

In 2021 Fringe HQ moved to Newtown in a new partnership with the Trustees of 5 Eliza. The project ran throughout 2021-2022 successfully navigating the pandemic and providing both performance and residency support for local artists during the pandemic.

In 2022 The Sydney Fringe relocated to the historic Marrickville Town Hall in partnership with the Inner West Council. Together alongside members of the local community, the Sydney Fringe is currently contributing to the steering committee to assist with the strategic planning to activate the town hall as a live music and multi-cultural arts facility.
