Patrick Kennedy


With over 15 years experience at the heart of arts and culture, Patrick joined Sydney Fringe in 2024. Most recently he led the national marketing and publicity campaign for Mary Poppins in Australia on behalf of Cameron Mackintosh, Disney and Michael Cassel Group. Other marketing and communications work at MCG included productions of & Juliet, Beetlejuice, Dear Evan Hansen as well as Opera Australia’s The Phantom of the Opera.

Prior to moving to Australia in 2021, Patrick spent 5 years as co-founder and Head of Client Services at We Are I Am, a plug-and-play arts and culture  marketing and communications agency with a portfolio of clients including BBC Studios, Lionsgate, Hasbro as well as West End productions of Falsettos, Amelie, The Immersive Great Gatsby and The Immersive Wolf Of Wall Street.

Other experience includes work at two of the UK’s biggest arts marketing agencies Dewynters and AKA working in sales and marketing across productions of Funny Girl, Sunny Afternoon, Kinky Boots, Wicked and Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. In 2014 Patrick was appointed as the first Marketing & Press Manager at Park Theatre, the North London producing powerhouse and worked extensively across audience development and community engagement programs.

Patrick is delighted to be part of the Sydney Fringe team and harnessing his comprehensive experience to deliver four weeks of the utterly unexpected each year.
