Isaac Broadbent

Isaac is dedicated to the development and support of Australian creative works. Having worked across the theatre and hospitality industries for the past 7 years, he recognises the need to foster and encourage diverse Australian voices and stories.

Initially studying Musical Theatre at both NIDA and VCA, Isaac has performed in and directed many independent shows across Australia’s east coast. He has worked with companies such as Australian Shakespeare Company, Brainstorm Productions and Lambert House Enterprises. In lieu of working in commercial theatre, he has focussed his attention on the Sydney independent industry. Isaac worked on creating the cabaret bar 5Eliza which supported acts such as Mash and Bangers, Wonderfully Terrible Things, and Show Pony. He also worked as an Associate Producer for the 2024 Sydney Mardi Gras, championing LGBTQIA+ and CALD performers and artists.

Isaac continues to perform as a musician and theatre performer and knows firsthand how difficult it can be for emerging artists to navigate the artistic world. Working with Sydney Fringe Festival is an extension of his artistic practice to support and assist other artists in bringing their work to life in front of audiences.
