As you can see from my bedroom wall, I’m clearly in prime mental condition to be speaking publicly. Being a comedian, you must have a kind of vast vocabulary, and I would say my vocabulary is vast. Many people think and believe they can be comedians, and frankly, I’ve been an avid fan of comedy for a decent number of years, but I’ve never read one of these in my life. So, if you’ve come this far, congratulations — you’re a great reader, but maybe comedy isn’t for you. Maybe try journalism or something.Anyway, if you’re still going, I don’t know what to tell you. You’re probably just puzzled as to why I keep going on and on directly to you, or maybe you’ve never quite read anything that’s wasted your time this much.So, as a token of your goodwill, I will buy you a beer if you come up to me after the show and say, “Jürgen.” I’ll do it.
