Terms and Conditions for Sydney Fringe and Sydney Place September Competition: Win a Trip to South Korea
1. Competition Overview
Entry Period: The competition runs from 12am on 1 September 2024 to 12am on 1 October 2024.
Eligibility: To enter, participants must spend $15 or more in a single transaction at any retailer within Sydney Place during the competition period.
Prize: A trip for two to South Korea consisting of return flights and 5 nights’ accommodation at Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam, valued at $2,500.
2. How to Enter
Entry Requirements: Participants must upload a clear copy of their receipt or proof of transaction showing the date and total amount of purchase, along with their name and email address, via the designated competition entry form during the competition period.
Multiple Entries: Participants can enter multiple times, with each valid receipt counting as one entry. The more times a participant makes eligible purchases, the more chances they have to win.
Consent: By entering the competition, participants agree to subscribe to both Sydney Fringe Festival and Sydney Place email newsletters. They can opt out of receiving these emails at any time.
3. Prize Details
Winner Selection: One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The draw will take place on 2 October 2024.
Notification: The winner will be contacted by Sydney Fringe via the email provided during entry on 2 October 2024.
Prize Conditions:
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.
The winner and Sydney Fringe, in coordination with Sydney Place, will mutually agree on the dates for the trip. The selected dates must fall between December 2024 and March 2025.
The prize is valued at $2,500, and this amount includes the cost of flights and accommodation.
4. Eligibility
The following person(s) are ineligible to enter:
Employees:
Sydney Fringe
Any retailer within Sydney Place
Lendlease Investment Management (Australia) Pty Ltd
Members of the Immediate Families of the employees referred to above. Immediate family means any of: a spouse or domestic partner, ex-spouse or ex-domestic partner, de-facto spouse or ex-de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or first cousin.
Only open to those aged 18 and over.
5. General Terms
Privacy: The personal information collected from participants will be used for the purpose of administering the competition and for marketing purposes as outlined above. Participants’ information will be handled in accordance with Sydney Fringe’s and Sydney Place’s privacy policies.
Discretion: Sydney Fringe and Sydney Place reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions or withdraw the competition at any time, subject to regulatory approval.
Disputes: Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the competition will be resolved at the discretion of Sydney Fringe and Sydney Place.
The Promoter(s) may cancel the competition and not award the prize where circumstances beyond the Promoter(s) reasonable control prevent the Promoter from providing the prize(s). Should the Promoter cancel the competition the Promoter will:
Advertise that the Competition has been cancelled by placing a notice on the original competition website
Promptly destroy all entries received; and
Not use the personal information that any participant has provided via the competition entry form
By entering this competition, participants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions, including the Privacy Policies.
